Yep...here we are...our last weekend together as a family before Madeleine and I set off for Africa.
Nadine came from Winnipeg to spend a few days with us packing boxes, cleaning, moving stuff around, some more cleaning, and still some more cleaning. Did alot this weekend...feels good to get rid of stuff...sort of a cleansing of sorts. Letting go of all that made us realize that we didn't want it or need it. Seeing everything you own fit into a 10X20 storage unit is a liberating experience.
Off to Washington DC tomorrow to meet up with some people at the state department...looking forward to these meetings. They'll give me a better idea of expectations about the future of the American International School of Conakry...during my watch.
